Pretty good results. I just want to get in a little plug for my own favorite non-fiction book of the year, Ann Coulter's Slander. Aside from mostly agreeing with her political views (which is really NOT what the book is about), it was just HILARIOUS how she took the liberals apart. She's so spot-on with this, and very clever and entertaining in how she expressed it. No wonder the commies hate her so vigorously.
Not that it's specifically relevant to 2002 books, but just by way of being fair and balanced [like Fox News], I'll note that I also really like the closest counterpart to Coulter's book, Al Franken's infamous RUSH LIMBAUGH IS A BIG FAT IDIOT.
Daniel Day-Lewis best actor for Gangs? Wow. I must've seen an alternate version of that film where Daniel overplayed an absurd caricature...
