Don't forget: Tori Amos Tribute 2003, Saturday April 12 at the Temple Ball Gallery in Carrboro, NC. Doors at 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10. There are no advance ticket sales, so if you're coming, don't be a jackass and show up late.

I should be on sometime around 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. (I'm the fifth performer), and I'll be murdering performing the tunes "Talula," "Take to the Sky," and "Little Earthquakes" for your listening pleasure. I was originally slated to play "Marianne" as well, but I've cut my set down to three songs because I'm still a tad concerned about my hand. It's much better these days, though.

I'm totally psyched about seeing (meeting!) Vienna Teng, by the way. (Check out her available mp3s.)

I hate you even more than that because even though you suck, suck monumentally, suck harder than a coke whore at a Def Leppard concert, I still cannot bring myself to call the cops.

But I hate you the most of all because my boyfriend's band can practice in that exact same unit with two guitar players brandishing Duncan Invaders and Marshall stacks, and a drummer who can play 260 bpm, and I can't hear a note. Not a single, solitary, fucking note. And because you insist on sucking so incredibly goddamned loud, you're probably going to ruin the last affordable practice space for all the other bands in this area who can respect the fact that most people are trying to sleep at midnight. Not to mention 2 a.m., which is the hour you quite wailing last night, if you don't remember.

A Final Note: You are not punk. You will never be punk. You are so NOT PUNK you might as well call your band "I Got a Rim Job from John Tesh" and get it over with. If you don't give it up pretty soon, I'm going to summon the ghost of Sid Vicious to come over there, sneer until you piss your fucking pants, and then eat your fucking balls off.
