Destination: Void by Frank Herbert- Yes, another Herbert book.

Politics is Murder by 18 Iowa Authers- Just a book I picked up cheap somewhere. Looked like an interesting, humorous concept.

Square-Shooter by William MacLeod Raine- A western. One of those books I love to death and read once every year or two.

Sad Cypress by Agatha Christie- I don't remember if I've read this one yet or not. We'll see.

Sahara by Clive Cussler- I know I've read this one many years ago. I need to take another stab at it.

The Death of Ivan Ilych and Other Stories by Leo Tolstoy- Classic author.

There Is A Tide by Agatha Christie- I think I have read this one, but it's been a while if I did.

The Once And Future King by T.H. White- So yeah, this has been a book that I occationally want to tackle, and watching X2 reminded me of it again.

Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett- Quirky author of fantasy. Kind of like Douglas Adams (being British and all) but the stories dont flow the same way.

Murder in Three Acts by Agatha Christie- I believe this is the last Christie book I'm taking. Though, I may have to buy more on the trip if I finish what ones I brought and need another Christie fix.

Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy- I started this one a while back but never finished it. I love Hardy's writing (especially the wonderful Mayor of Casterbridge (or is it Casterberry? I can never remember)).

Animal Farm by George Orwell- I saw the animated movie my freshman year in english, so I never bothered with the book. I've come to the place now where I don't really remember the movie so I need to give it a shot.

and lastly...

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett- On the cover it calls it's self "A direct descendant of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" so I must read it, being the The Hitchhiker's Guide fan that I am.

I would actually take The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (by Douglas Adams) with me, except I have the "all 5 volumes in one hardcover book" edition and it's too big to be able to take.

If you have any suggestoins on what to read first, I am most open to hearing them.

peace.

Assuming he survives, imagine all the posts he'll have saved up! This just might turn into The Theory's personal blog for a while! "All The Theory, All The Time!"
